My best advice is to not be timid and come out and meet folks (see above threads!), be it a match or an informal get-together. Actually plunging into the seeing & doing will quickly get you oriented and really help you to decide how you want to set your priorities when it comes to your new addiction [setting your priorities without seeing/doing/talking to folks can get you sidetracked and spending a lot of money that you might later regret... that can easily happen with out of context 'Internet knowledge' -- was totally guilty of that when I started].

Thanks for the threads Matt!
I'll have to go to one of these local shoots and touch base with some of you guys and gals. I just picked up a Remington 700 AAC SD, and my "Addiction" is now starting! Of course I want to upgrade it, so I'm going to do alot of reseach and hopefully buy the right parts.

Welcome, you came to the right spot to learn from great people. I also have aac sd although have not shot it yet still waiting on glass.
