Hello from Carbon County, Wyoming! I've been a recreational shooter and collector for the past decade, started competing in the last 5 years or so (mostly Brutality, 2/3 gun, even a Cola Warrior), and recently shot my very first PRS match with my beloved SCAR17. Previous to that, the furthest distance I've ever shot in a match setting was ~500 yards with my Hungarian SVD

That helped me realize that I take the wide open spaces available to me for granted, so I also recently ginned up the courage to put a SAKO TRG22A1 on backorder to help me push my skills to 1000 yards any beyond.

I'm also a huge fan of handloading, and am really looking forward to dialing in a credible 6.5mm Creedmoor load for those distances

Thanks for having me, and I can't wait to learn from the members here, and to fall down the rabbit hole that is horse trading nice optics.

Thanks! I did most of my growing up in central FL, couldn't believe how much wide open space was available after moving out west. Or at least at this point it's hard to not think of every golf course as a waste of a perfectly good long distance shooting range
