Rifle Scopes help choosing scope

i just finished my first ar-10 platform 308 rifle. i want to purchase a rifle scope for it. my budget will be $1000 or less. I like the horus reticle and want a tactical style scope with the external turrets, parallax adjustment, variable power,etc. I plan to purchase a larue or similar mount for it. any help would be appreciated,thanks
