I’m considering this rifle:

I did some searches and couldn’t find the same DBM. Maybe it’s older or a small, out of the business shop. It looks robust, but it’s just a picture.

1. Does anyone know what it is?
2. Was it drop in for factory BDL floor plate or a custom inlet?

I may want to use the stock for another rifle and dont necessarily want a drop magazine.

Thanks for any help,
Greg

P.S. If anyone here is stalking that rifle online, please just buy it and save me the money. 🤑

That's for sure a Seekins DBM but I'm not sure if it's from before he made them AICS compatible when it used proprietary magazines. I think the inlet is unique to the DBM and not exactly BDL or M5 cut.
If it’s like the one I had a while back, it was a unique fit and any of the m5 dbm setups I had would not fit without some additional inletting

Early Seekins it is. Once I checked all the pics, I could see the enlarged trigger guard shape and their reticle logo on the bottom. I’m not going to get involved in offbeat inlets. Besides, I don’t consider DBM to be a complete system without at least three mags total.

Too bad, I was looking for an excuse to buy that McMillan stock. It looks like Arid Camo. Their sight says no custom colors on that pattern, but this stock has six colors instead of the three on their website.

Buy it and shoot it. I’m pretty sure Pmags worked with it, so plenty of options for mags
