Anyone have an idea what bullet this is? They’re 180gr 1.42x” long and have a black ballistic tip. Can’t seem to match up a manufacturer using google and similar bullets don’t have a cannelure. Any help is appreciated!

Interesting that those have been loaded then disassembled to be sold. Military over run ammo ??

EDIT; upon a little searching black tip is armor piercing ??

When it’s painted, often yeah. Hold a magnet to it, see if it has the steel core

I think ap handgun ammo is banned, not rifle. You just have to make sure you don’t shoot it at steel targets you don’t want to damage or at a range than bans it

IF that’s what that is. I’m just guessing

I think it's a Swift Scirocco that was made for one of the major ammunition manufacturers with that added deep cannelure. That bullet has a very thick jacket and the black plastic tip, just like the Sciroccos.

Whatever it is, it's a very nice hunting bullet.
You’re correct! Looks like it’s for Remingtons premium line. Thanks!
