Hi guys
bit of a strange one here that hopefully someone can help with.
I have been given some Ammo to use on a trial to check out a rifle, scope and ballistics calculator with.
The ammo comes in a black box which says:
Winchester .308 168gr HPBT S308M Match
It also lists trajectory info for "Short Range" and "Long Range" from 100yds to 500yds in the form:
100yd SR 0" LR +2.1" 150yd SR -1.3" LR +1.8"
200yd SR -4.1" LR 0 250yd SR -8.6" LR -3.4"
300yd SR -14.9" LR -8.7" 400yd LR -25.1"
500yd LR -50.7"
I am not familiar with this ammo and i can't see it listed on Winchesters site and i am trying to get the BC and MV for it.
I chronographed it on the range but i am getting big variations ie
2773, 2805, 2778, 2865, 2850, 2845, 3172, 2861, 3098
Having said that once the elevation is dialed in ( quite a way off predicited with horus ) the ammo holds spot on with regards to drop.
Can anyone over in US help identifying the ammo and possibly provide what the BC and MV is supposed to be?
Any help much appreciated.
Best Rgds to all ( especially ST6 )
