Please help me choose a bipod for my circumstances.

I shoot recreationally in the field prone at paper and steel targets, I do not compete in matches. Bipod deployment speed is not important to me nor is being able to use the bipod on all kinds of obstacles and positions etc. I also don't need QD as the bipod will be staying on the rifle. I'm more interested in the most stable platform for long range prone shooting however I don't want a f class bi pod as I need the legs to be able to fold. Budget max $220 so please I cannot afford the lra or atlas PSR etc.

These are what iam deciding between unless someone can offer another alternative that I'm not aware of that would suit my type of shooting better. Will be going on a picatinny rail.

Larue modified harris BRMS 6-9 $220
Atlas BT10 fixed screw model $220
BR4 accutac $162

I realise most people advise the atlas PSR however I cannot afford that. From my research the atlas BT 10 has a few "flaws" if you wanna call it that ie the legs spin, some more slop in the system maybe some others Im not aware of. Despite these issues what would work best for my type of shooting or any suggestions I'm not aware of.

thanks

If you already have the pic rail, then the BT10 will work fine. I would not call it sloppy, you can get a good load on the bipod and the legs move both back and forth. Which rifle is this BTW? Does it have a sling swivel? Good ol Harris works fine without all the extra high speed stuff. BRM-S with podlock can be had close to $100-$120.

I already have the BT17 atlas rail, the gun is a 6.5x47l it is made up of all custom stuff. Because I already have the rail I would rather use it instead of mounting to swivel stud, so If I went the harris I would go with the larue as it has a mount to fit the picatinny rail. It is however the same price as the atlas B10 at $220
