I am looking to pick up an 18 inch .223 Wylde barrel soon to build into a good long range AR. I have narrowed it down to the following barrels. Just curious what everyone's experience is with these barrels. My goal is to make a very decent shooter that will easily shoot 1 MOA or less with 77 OTM bullets. The optic I will be using for this setup is a Vortex AMG 6-24x.
Criterion Core 18 - I currently own a 14.5 Core and that barrel shoots amazing. I have been a big fan. I am just not sure if a chrome lined barrel is the best barrel for this application.
Criterion Fluted Stainless - Since I have had good luck with a Criterion core, one of their stainless barrels seems like it may be a good idea.
WOA 3 Gun MK2.3 - WOA seems to get some very good reviews. This is one of their only 18 inch barrels in stock right now.
Craddock Precision Ready to Rock - I have also read some good things about Craddock and the finishing options seem nice.
Rainier Arms Ultramach - I have heard good things and the barrels look nice, but I have also read a few reviews that they can be picky with ammo. Their warranty seems nice.
Your guys' input is greatly appreciated!
