Night Vision Help mounting a D740 on a AIAW?

Is anybody using a D740 night vision scope on a Accuracy International rifle? The reason I ask is up until recently, I was using a D740 on ARs with flattop receivers. Now I went with a AIAW and it seems difficult to mount the D740 far enough back in order to get good cheek weld while depressing the shuttered eye cup. The D740 is mounted in a RAD-2 QD mount and I had to mount the scope as far back as I could on my AR for it to work well. When mounted all the way back on the AW with the butt stock collapsed I can just barley and uncomfortably depress the eye cup. Any suggestions on how to make this work (different mounts, extended eye cups, etc.)?

While not exactly the same, I has a similar issue with my 4X Raptor. I used a LaRue ACOG mount to move the scope back,you might try a LT101 riser,and reverse it.

Replacing the the shuttered eye cup with a Butler Creek #30 scope cover will give you several more inches of eye relief. But it does make the green glow around your eye visible to others.
