Hey guys im new here and a college student.
My dad and I custom build a 6.5 x 55 Swedish Mauser three years ago and i love it.
However, due to the college setting I cannot reload lol. I use rem core locks as the grouping at 200 yards is ridiculous.
I am in the market now for a new rifle and I would like something that is semi popular to avoid having to search for my ammo.
I am interested in the two most powerful and accurate rounds the 300 win mag and the 7mm rem mag. Any suggestions as to which round
and which rifle to chamber the round? I primarily hunt deer and pig. And I shoot regularly long distance (sighted in at 200 yards) up too 700+ yards
for fun.
Please advise. My price is no more than 3000$.
