I have a Leupold MK AR Scope, aluminum MK 4 Leupold rings and a Remington R-25. When I mounted my Leupold scope on my M24 I used 65 inch-pounds of torque to mount the rings to the rifle and 22 inch-pounds of torque to mount the top of the rings to the bottom half of the rings. I am unsure using the aluminum Leupold rings and also the picitinny rail is integral to the Remington upper receiver and is also aluminum. So, my questions are - what torque should I use to mount the MK4 rings to the Remington R-25 rails and what torque should I use to attach the top of the rings to the bottom half of the rings? Thanks!
