Help please. Need Siamese Mauser follower

I got a complete Siamese mauser action for $100 bucks minus spring and follower.

Which is a hell of a good deal, especially these days.


I want to make a 45-70 out of it. I can find the spring. If someone can find me a follower I will be very grateful.

I have looked and found nothing.

I've read that a Type 38 Arisaka follower can be used. I don't think Numrich has any of those atm either.

Makes a damn nice 45-70. My dad has one. Probably one of the most shootable platforms you can have a 45-70 on.

You definitely want a little bit heavier profile on the barrel, and a stock aimed at recoil management. I’ve witnessed many whitetail deer he’s shot with wide open 300 grain loads. It’s like they are killed by the hand of god

It might be easier to find someone who will agree to have their magazine follower professionally 3D scanned so that you can have a replica printed. Car restorers have started doing this for unobtainable parts like exterior door handles for rare cars.
