I've got some components I'd like to use. I have 300 pieces of Winchester brass new, 300 Hornady 105 BTHPs and some H4831.

I've heard the H4831 is good for 105s to 115s.

I'm shooting out of a 28 inch Krieger 1-7.5 barrel.

Is there a combo you would suggest or should I just stick to the 115s I've been using?

H4831 is great for 100gr bullets & heavier. I cant give info about your bullet selections because my rifles do not shoot boattails good at all.

I had a Surgeon 591 with a Bartlein 1:7.5" 5R @ 26.25". I started at 41.6 gr H4831, 115 DTAC, Lapua brass, CCI BR-2 primer that produced 2,824 fps.

Hodgdon lists 38.0 gr H4831 (2,678 fps) starting load and 41.0 gr H4831 (2,835 fps) max load for the 107 gr SMK.
