I installed this SLR 16” Solo rail per the specs, which is 35 inch pounds. It moves forward during recoil. I went to 40, then 50, and yesterday I used a seekong 65 inch pound torque wrench. Not sure how much more it can handle before snapping the 8x32 screws but three rounds through it and it’s still moving forward. Any ideas to keep it in place?
I bought it used for $130 shipped. Seemed like a deal at the time but I’m not so sure now!

Well, I don’t feel like a total dumb ass because I did pay someone $40 to put this one together. I should have spent the money on the tools for the large frame receiver. I have the tools to do AR 15s but not the large frame.
I pulled it apart, it wasn’t seized luckily, and reinstalled with the wedges properly seated in the groove in the barrel nut.
Thank you padom for the reassurance.
