Gents,
i have been reloading .223 on my Dillon 650xl for a few years now, not minding much about the precision since none of my .223 AR’s are really made for shooting precision. I finally decided to get a Forster coax press and start loading for my 6.5-284 Norma and 6.5 grendel. I just ordered a Forster micrometer seater die and a Forster bushing bump neck sizer die. I should have done my research prior to ordering the sizing for as I’m seeing a lot of fuss about not using a full length resizing die. Do you guys have any opinions on the 2? I will be reloading the 6.5-284 on the single stage for now as I can’t find quality 6.5 grendel dies for sale anywhere. Just looking for some more information on the sizing die controversy that I’m seeing as well as any tips you may have about getting into precision reloading. I know the basics and that’s about it. The rifle for the 6.5-284 is a MOA Rifles Evolution Long Range Hunter

There's always a lot of fuss about reloading. Go with what you have and if it works out, thats fine. After a while you may change your mind. That's fine too.For under about 40 bucks you can get a Forster FL die; others can run you twice that plus. Load. Shoot. Repeat as needed or more often....

I have the 650 also. I reload 556 and precision 308 on it. The 308 is a little tedious with weighing each drop, but with the right floating tool head, you can easily load to +/- .001ol.

I love the 650 for my 223, and eventually will do my 300Blk on it since I finally (13 months) received my SBR form one back. I went ahead and bought a Forster Co-Ax press for my precision stuff just because buying the conversion kits for multiple other calibers on the 650 would have cost as much as a single stage press, I already have an electric powder trickled and everything I need to get going on the single stage.
