Just got a a Rem 700 action rebarreled in .223 AI and it won't
feed fireformed rounds from the magazine. It feeds standard .223 rounds perfectly, just not the fireformed rounds. Is there a simple fix or do I need to send it back to a smith? I built this gun for calling coyotes, so having a single shot kinda sucks.

Re: Help with feed problems

The AI case is fatter at the shoulder so the top round may be pointing down too much and getting caught up. Try opening the front lips of the magazine a small amount at a time until the top round is at the same angle as the original standard case ammo.
Other than that , you may have to take it to a smith as feeding can be a real pain to fix.
