ho, tx
I have a heavy barreled howa in a Bell and Carlson stock. Right now i have a mark 4 on the gun. I am sending the mark 4 off for a new reticle. In the mean time i am putting a scope with a one inch tube on the gun. What height of rings should i get? The cheek piece on the B and C stock is pretty high.

Thanks,

avd

Re: help with ring height

Depends on your base, the exit objective on the scope, etc. There is a link in the at the top of this forum this addresses that. You can also just take the gun to the store w/ your scope and check the rings there.

Good luck

Re: help with ring height

Why not just get a set of ring reducers for the rings you have currently mounted for your Leupold Mark 4? That will take you from 30mm rings to 1" rings for your temp scope without the need to buy an entire new set of rings.
