I understand the concept behind them and I find them useful as a feature. The thing is how do you prevent blowing past the first few increments of the numbered mils on the turrets? Seems no matter how gentle the touch I skip at least 3-4 increments when I adjust past the numbers.

Re: Help with S&B MTC Turrets

That is the nature of the beast with any MTC. When I had a couple Premiers they did the same thing. It's why I'm not a big fan of MTC turrets and advise people to try them if they can. People who have used them for a while say they get used to them so keep using with them.

Re: Help with S&B MTC Turrets

I never remember having that problem with my PH and definitely don't now. That said, once the hardware breaks in a little, it may get better. One of my shooting partners just got his MTC S&B in. It is pretty much impossible to hit one tenth after a full mil. This, again, may get better. I think the extra diameter of the PH turret helps also.

The full mil indents on mine are no where near as positive as the S&B, for better or worse.

It is interesting that his windage turret (the one nobody actually uses
