Henry County Vintage Sniper shoot

Spent this past weekend in Paris Tenn. attending the Henry County Gun Club Vintage Sniper Rifle World Championship. Had 15 teams shoot 6 different target packages 3 of which where either timed or speed packages. Spent Friday practicing with my partner and trying to dial in his new PU sniper without luck ( scope issues) so he used my back-up SOV and I shot my ZFK. While we didn't finish in the near the top we did enjoy our selves and afterwards got to run a few rounds through a PKM and a Solothern 20mm anti tank rifle.

And I even came home with another toy, a virtually NIB 1986 Steyr SSG69 w/ Kahles ZF84 scope.

It was cool to shoot but it wasn't a Lhati, it was a Swiss Solothern built for the German Army pre WW2

Having grown up in Paris, it's super cool to see events like this taking place there. Was this a one time thing or is it a yearly occurrence? May have to make the trip home for that in the future!

A very nice Steyr Mannlicher SSG 69 P1 rifle with a black stock. And with the Kahles ZF84 scope on top of it too.
