Hi new from NM

I have been a deer hunter using a 30-30 with iron sights for a long time, but I'm starting to get into long distance shooting. I have decided to start with a Remington 700 SPS in .308 with an S&B 5-25X56 scope. I still need to pick out a stock, get into reloading, and figure out how to calculate for wind and such. If anyone has some good advice I'm all ears.

do you have more information about the Raton match. It sounds like it could fun once I am able to get a little more into this.
