Hi, I will buy a new upper for my DPMS LR-308 rifle. I can see you get two different rail hights on the the upper receiver. The low rail is used on the SASS, and the high rail is normaly used on LR-308. Which of the rail highs should I buy? Is it any benefit with low rail on SASS VS high rail on LR-308?

Re: High or Low rail hights on DPMS Upper receiver

you might want to decide what your handguard you are going to use and then clarify what rail height you mean. i know they make a high rise. but also the flat top has had the rail height changed and now there is a rumor that its going back the way it was. it made it so the only quad rails that lined up were the ones DPMS sells. so when you say high and low rail heights, you have to be clear. now the hi-rise, i guess thats to make optics easier.
