I purchased my HK91 back in the 80s and I seem to recall that there was an option for a long range turret sight. I've looked through the armorer's and owners manuals as well as several websites to no avail. Does anyone here know the PN and if it is still available?

I am going to change my first gen rear sight out to a fourth gen rear sight on my HK21. If you are interested in the first gen 1200 meter sight let me know.

I have a 4th Gen 1,200m sight on my MSG-90 clone and they are excellent iron sights (yes...they are both elevation and windage adjustable).

If you are looking to buy, then I highly recommend Adam Webber at HKParts.net (the link provided above). I have done business with Adam for a long time and he offers excellent products and services.

Also, check with Gordon Miller at HK Specialist Store (I can vouch for Gordon as well):

I am afraid to even ask how much you want for it.

The HK 1200 meter sight is tough and reliable. You will enjoy it--just have to get past the initial lump...

Nothing HK makes is cheap, but the quality and engineering make it all palatable.

Yes definitely very reliable and accurate sights. I have a few HK rifles and I have put 1200 meter sights on all of them. And yes I definitely agree, HK and cheap do not go together
