so was researching the pillar bed Hogue over mold stocks , and some very salty remarks regarding them seemed to be a common theme showed up from a internet search , how bad are they really , THAT BAD?

Well it's all about context, if you're looking for one literal step up from a factory tupperware stock or don't have a stock for a barreled action and don't need MOA accuracy then they'll do fine I'm sure. If you're looking for anything outside of those parameters then yeah they're that bad.

Look how many times never they're used on custom rifles or show up at rifle matches.

I personally won’t buy another one. I do like the feel of the over mould but the fore end has quire a bit of flex in it that I feel even shooting offhand, let alone slung up or with a bipod. My example is on a 10-22 Heavy Barrel that I’m trying to take to 200m.

My current direction is moving towards a KRG Bravo or MDT Field stock for this rifle.
