Holosun 407c question

Anyone else with a holosun 407c, can you see a faint mirage of a circle dot reticle? This optic is supposed to be just a 2moa dot, but I can actually see the circle-dot reticle (which is an option on the 507c, I assume they use very similar internals.). It shows up very faintly around a much brighter center dot at daylight settings and is difficult to separate from astigmatism flare. But under NODS, I see the whole circle-dot reticle crystal clear as though that was the design intent, NOT just a 2moa dot.

Is this normal with the 407c? Mine is green.
