Home range, corrugated pipe, accuracy?

Hey all,

My apologies if this is not the correct thread, feel free to move if necessary.

I'm looking to improve my backyard range and shoot through a 18"x8' corrugated pipe to help quiet the report of my guns.

I have a decent 100yd setup that I typically use for load development, so accuracy on this range is fairly important.

I plan to build a simple setup with X braces to hold the pipe up at the end of my bench and shoot with my muzzle inside of the "tube".

My questions are as follows:

1) will this setup negatively affect accuracy of the guns (most are running brakes, if that matters). I know the only real way to determine this is to shoot it and see, but figured I'd ask first.

2) will this setup negatively affect any reading that I would get off of my magneto speed? Would it harm the unit in any way by shooting in this "enclosed space"?

You will rethink that plan once you fire the first shot.

Unless lining with some sort of acoustic material, I would try to find another approach.

Accuracy and magneetospeed should not be affected.
