I started using a tripod for coyote hunting this past winter. I only use it at night and I run thermal with no lights. I found the Arca Swiss attachments difficult to get lined up in the pitch black, especially if I'm in a hurry. I "rednecked" this together in hopes that maybe some company might consider building something similar. Some of you will know what this is made of.
Again, this is very ' use whatcha got'. It does wobble a little, but the tolerances could definitely be tightened up. I would actually rather use something like this, because it could be made a lot smaller and have a tighter fit. Yes, that is a qd steering wheel hub.
What do you guys think? Would anyone else like to see someone making something like this?
