Is the glass clearer on the S&B PMII 4-16 DT over the S&B PMII 5-25 DT? or is it just the fact that at max zoom you pick up more of the mirage on the 5-25?

While I do not have the 4-16, I do have both the 3-20 and the 5-25.
I think the glass in both is the same.....AWESOME. I have been shooting my 3-20 more in the last week, but that's just because I've been on a gas gun kick.
I like some things about the 3-20 better, but that's reticle and turret related, certainly not glass.

I agree with you comments as I have two S&B PMII 5-25's right now. I am just asking ifthe difference is valid or the circumstances I mentioned. I had a PMII 3-12 double turn many years ago but never at the same time.
You turn up a scope, you pick more mirage. You'll pick up a similar amount on the same power. The 56mm will probably be a clearer image, better resolution, etc otherwise.
