Hi all,
Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I hear lots of good things here and elsewhere about this round. However, there is little info on it and speculation on the origin of the projectile.
I emailed Hornady:
"Hello,
Hornady American Gunner in 6.5 Grendel (123gr) has drawn a lot of attention in the 6.5 Grendel community. Could you add this round to the 4DOF bullet library in the Hornady app?
Thank you! "

"Thank you for the email. I will be happy to suggest this in our upcoming meetings.
Thank you"
Me:
"Hello,
Are there any updates regarding this?
Thank you!"

I have suggested this in our meetings. There was no say if they are planning on adding this to the list.
Thank you"
I was extremely pleasantly surprised at how personal and responsive the person replying was. I was expecting some kind of PR paragraph. I did originally email because I heard one person saying they would chrono rounds if asked.
My question is: what is a respectful next question to ask? Should I leave it there? I wonder if Hornady is in a tricky position because this AG with an unknown (possibly outside) source is performing better than their Black and in some samples have better concentricity.
