Does the press come with a shell plate and the primer tubes for lg and sm primers. What about the ptx insert. I see it has the powder measure and linkage. Starting to think about upgrading my Lee 4 hole turret for handgun.

no shell plate. It does come with a PTX insert but most guys are saying you need to grab one of the pistol caliber micrometers to do accurate small powder drops.

it comes with the large and small primer tubes also. You will need a shellplate and dies for whatever caliber you are reloading

The drop inserts work just fine for 44mag an 357 for me with both Unique and H110. I have not run other calibers through it yet, as much as I need to get cracking on the enormous pile of brass sitting on the floor.

I shoot light charges of Unique in both calibers, in the 357 it's around 7.5gr IIRC and I didn't have any problems with metering consistency.

EDIT: I haven't loaded any charges lighter than that though, so the special add on parts might be necessary.
