Hornady thrower on Dillon

Re: Hornady thrower on Dillon

well, I had an RCBS powder measure which is similar in design (I can't remember what those types are called) but I think I had better luck with the Dillon measure when using stick powders (RL15)

Re: Hornady thrower on Dillon

I recently set-up a Uniflow with the Hornady linkage. I threw 25 charges of N140 at 24.5 grs. Twenty-one were dead on and four were 24.4 grs. I loaded 500 rounds using H322 at 23.0 grs. checking about one in 20; all were dead on. I wish the linkage would work with the the older Hornady measures.

When I was loading on the Projector, I used a Hornady with their old linkage (ram activated). Worked at least as well as any other measure I've used on a progressive.

Redding uses a vertical operating lever orientation on their measures (except for the 10X pistol measure). I believe the Hornady actuator needs an angled lever.
