I'm new to long range shooting and I had a question about horus vision reticle. I seen a usoptics scope with a horus vision reticle...i was wondering if Horus will put their reticle in a scope of your choice? By looking at their website i couldn't get a clear yes or no.

Re: horus vision reticle

No, I have Horus reticles in 3 USO scopes and couldn't be happier.

Whereas I agree that $400 is a steep upgrade, other companies are charging more than double that to to it.

The Horus is a luxury. You don't really need it. I have an H25 in my USO, and I like it, but I got it so that I don't have to crank the knobs on the scope

. I'm not convinced that it's worth what Horus charges for it.

Yeah Lindy, PR used to do the Loopy swaps, so I think it's unavailable there anymore. I know PR used to do them in S&B, and thought that was out now, but "M4guru" on here contacted S&B and found out that they do still offer it.

NF is coming with it, but un-sure what the upcharge will be. Hedsolt offers it as well, but is a pretty spendy upgrade there as well.

I agree with Graham that it's more of a luxury than a necessity. I like them, and have gotten used to them, but could just as easily shoot a mil hash reticle instead if the Horus wasn't available.

Me, too. I had a U.S.O. with an H25, which was my primary scope for three years.

One day it occurred to me that I could shoot holdovers on my Gen II mildot out to 600+ yards from a 100 yard zero. I sold the scope with the Horus in it, and I'll never own another.

Thanks for your comments. But that sucks, 'cause i'm not super happy about the plain jane mil dot...I was hoping to at least find a company that would swap my reticle with one that had at least 1/2 mil marks.
