Join the contestWhat everyone using these days for ELR past 1200? I keep hearing 300 prc. Is that the new hotness going into the year? Mainly banging steel
That’s a bit conservative on the Nosler cartridges.28 or 30 Nosler up to 1500 yd,and of course a 300NM or 338 LM up to 2000yd,anything beyond that i'd go with a 375 projo.

my 7 saum hammers at a mile and at 1950 yards did quite well.
Hell, my 260 does well at 1500.
I have limited experience with a 338 lapua at 2300 and that wasn’t overly difficult and I was a full on newb then.
?!1200 to where?
1500 6.5CM
2000 7mm or 30 magnum
2300 338 something
3000 375 something
?!
Oh, did I say that out loud??
Come shoot in the wind. Now I’ve heard of a 338 bullet with a bc over 1.0 that might make that true

3643 yrds = 3/5 shots once dialed in (11 shots) with standard 375 CT
1 MOA sized target
352 cutting edge
125 grains powder retumbo
funny thing is my buddies all out shot me... I’m just the weekend warrior tag along...

someday!
I have a place in eastern Oregon I could go 4000 yards.
I’m now researching options
33 or 37xc seem right for me.
That’s what I keep seeingMy friend is having good luck with the 37xc at the same distances as my 375ct. He is getting the roughly the same AVG FPS as I am with the 400 gr CE lazers. 2916 ish with single digit SD's.

Either one single fed in an AXMC is money!!
Yes. I believe it's .585
I load 33xc for @Nelsonr2 above. He had Adam at MH turn the barrel for his axmc. It will not mag feed, but it single feeds just fine with the .338 Lapua b.f. bolt.
Load is 116 grains of retumbo w/ a 300 grain Berger seated right at the lands.
I do not remember. I think it was used to break some records. I got the picture from a gun article about itWhat cartridge is that?

Do you have to remove the bolt on an axmc to remove an unfired round that is chambered?I load 33xc for @Nelsonr2 above. He had Adam at MH turn the barrel for his axmc. It will not mag feed, but it single feeds just fine with the .338 Lapua b.f. bolt.

That .416 is nice. A friend of my just bought a ULR extreme in .416 for what he considered a good price. I have to say the ELR looks fun and challenging! @ oneshot.onehit tell me about your rifle build i.e action barrel..
Thanks!
M113A3
The rifle was built and chambered by Warner Tool Co.
Action is a Barnard GP
Barrel is a 39” Bartlein 8 twist
Stock is a Mc Millian Beast
Warner adjustable scope base
Warner MOAB muzzle brake
Vortex Gen II Razor 4.5-27x56 MRAD scope
Rifle weight - 41.8 lbs
20N29 powder
RWS primers
RWS brass
In 2018 and 2019 I used a squeeze bag in the back and a Atlas 5H bi-pod in the front
For 2020 I changed it up with a Edgewood bag in the back and a Phoenix bi-pod up front as shown.
Rifle has been used with good results for
2018, 2019 King of 2 Mile - tuff switching wind at 2019 event
2019 NRA Extreme ELR
2019 Spear Point Finale
Bullets used with “easy on the brass” speed with rifle
2018 - 400 grain 375s running 3360 fps Flat Lines - used with a 375 chambered 35” Bartlein
2019 - 505 grain 416s running 3250 fps Flat Lines
2020 - 550 grain 416s running 3145 fps Flat Lines
I may tweak the load some yet for 2020 but it should float somewhere in that 3145 fps accuracy node.
Pictured is a loaded 260 round for comparison.
Cheers

Pretty sure it's the 14.9mm SOP that 50 West Armory did with Warner Tool Company and Josh from Patriot Valley Arms. Nasty round for sureWhat cartridge is that?
1200 to where?
1500 6.5CM
2000 7mm or 30 magnum
2300 338 something
3000 375 something
I think it’s pretty accurate from my observations and not pushing things to the limit.Nice summary!
