I spent much of my life growing up in what is the western half of his district. The blight and crime that was brought in by those that are his target constituency have taken an upper middle class area to the ghetto. The killings and shootings are a regular occurrence. A few weeks ago, as I sat in the breakfast area of a house we've had since my father designed it and the developer built it 50 years ago, there was a shoot out across the fence in the apartments. That one was won by the police.

Still have the 9mm ball slug pulled from the ceiling sheetrock in the late '90s. It came through the roof. The high angle trajectory leaned back towards the apartments.

The blight has done bad things to the property values.
