How did you get your moniker?

How did you get or come up with your moniker? Does it have a meaning?
Mine is simply a play on my last name that some have called me over the years...Skid Row

Born & Raised on Eastern Shore of MD - was at a party and hung 4 live crabs from my balls and walked around pointing at some girl saying look at the terrible case of crabs she gave me.....

surprisingly enough the crabs only latched on and that was it...they did not try to clip anything.

Well, when I first got on the job, I was really hitting my stride with the heavy weight lifting. That was coupled with our uniforms being blue and my wearing of shirt stays to keep my uniform tight and sharp looking.

Anyway, I went hard charging into a priority call one day and an older guy called me "a big dumb super hero that wears blue spandex" aka "The Tick".

It has stuck with me for 9 years.

I hope you where very drunk when this even occured. I bet it was funny as hell though. Sounds like stuff that my old friends would do.
