I am trying to get the RIANOV Eagle set up on the AXMC .308 and for one of the fields I need to tell it whether the twist is RH or LH.

When I look from the chamber to the muzzle the rifling seems to spiral clockwise, does that make it a right hand twist?

It is also hard to be sure I am seeing it correctly so does anyone know for certian which way the AINA .308 1/10 barrel twists?

All of the barrels we make for AI are right hand twist.

Yes clockwise is right hand twist.

If you want to be even more sure put a nice fitting patch on a cleaning rod and push it down the bore with a good cleaning rod with a free rotating handle. The rod would spin to the right but no need to do that as like I said all of the barrels we make AI are RH twist. Those barrels are marked AINA.

    Good morning Frank,
Since I have your attention...and I searched, but could not find it.

    What does AINA stand for?

    Thanks, have a great day.

The easy way, right/left hand rule.

Point your fingers in the direction of the rifling twist from chamber to muzzle. If thumb points toward muzzle using your right hand, it is right hand twist. If the thumb points to the muzzle with your left hand, it is left hand twist.
