How to determine the length of your arca-swiss m-lok adapter?

Plan to get a bi-pod for arca rail, looking for a arca-swiss m-lok adapter and want to maximize the arca rail.

Not sure how to determine the length of the m-lok to arca-swiss adapter I should get. Should I measure from the beginning of the 1st m-lok hole to the end of the last one? Or overall length of the handguard would also needs to be taken into consideration?

Have a Tikka T3x Tac A1 chassis and there are 5 full m-lok hole at the bottom.
