How to fit your rifle to you

Was listening to the everyday sniper podcast and Mike and Frank gave a rundown on how to adjust your length of pull to you etc getting your cheek weld right and afew other tid bits im just wondering does the snipers hide video lessons cover this or is there a simple tutorial for this? Or is this common knowledge that id just missed along the way.

with my latest setup, I laid down and got comfortable and then brought the rifle to me. I rest my cheek on the rifle and adjust the cheek rest accordingly. I didn't want to have any strain at all and I wanted to feel comfortable on the rile for an extended period of time and that is why I laid down and then drug the rifle back to be to match me and not the other way around, if that makes sense.
