Well answer is pretty simple build it around a NOVESKE 14.5 Afghan barrel and premium Noveske parts, I have assembled a few dozens of these clones over the last couple years, but with a clone upper with the word improved in it, I figured I could do a little better, not saying the Daniel Defense CHF 14.5 govt barrel is shit, I own one and its a great barrel, but I have always had a soft spot for afghan barrels, so my drill press took a shit so I wont be able to pin and weld the flash hider for a couple weeks so its a pistol build for now with a noveske branded SB3A but I have a sopmod waiting, I will try and hit the range next week for a range report here are the specs
upper
Noveske Gen 1 upper
Noveske 14.5 afghan barrel medium midlength with pinned gas block
Noveske Enhanced RCA nitride bcg
Noveske/Geissele ACH
Deadair keymo flash hider( sandman k should clear soon i hope)
Geissele Super RARE Grey MK16 URGI NSN stamped handguard
KAC MK12 front sight
KAC micro rear sight
Handguard scales
Eotech EXps3-0
Eotech G33
Lower
Noveske N4 gen 1
Noveske take down pins
Geissele LPK Maritime bolt catch
Geissele SSAE trigger
Geissele trigger guard
Geissele Buffer extension
Noveske end plate
Geissele braided spring
Geissele H1 buffer
Ergo grip
Noveske SB3A temp brace

Where did you get that gas block jig? I need that in my life.
Thats a PRI my friend and comes with a punch to hold your gas tube roll pin, after 15 years and multiple armour courses I learned having the right tools makes life easy, invest once cry once, but really its like $30 worth every penny and some takes seconds to do gas blocks

I tend to agree, I really do like Noveske barrels, but even easier, just buy a 14.5 KAC upper and be done with it. Nothing wrong with a build but being deployed most of the time, I don't have the time to mess around with builds anymore. Just curious, how much did you build run?

that is still in the works i was going to initially covert a mod 2 into a URGI upper I prefer the g rails over the KAC and this way it makes it easy to service once the G barrel nut is installed compared to the Kac urx 4
