I am familiar with how to set the zero stop.... looses the two screws of the turret cap, then loosen the 4 screws on the cam and turn the top cam clock wise till it stops...then retighten the 4 cam screws and replace/tighten turret cap. BUT..... I need to move my zero DOWN, and I am unable too by the above methods....how do I accomplish this task?

Please don't say plenty of videos on how to do it.... I have watched them all. The ONLY address if your point of impact was too low, and you raised the turret... then set zero. I am wanting to do the opposite. Surely this has come up before.

Asking for help!

Take the turret cap off, loosen the 4 zero stop screws and don't retighten them. Put the turret cap back on and now you can set zero at will without the zero stop interfering. Once zero is set just take the cap off, set the zero stop by rotating clockwise until it stops and then tighten the 4 screws.

I usually set my zero, the turn the turret 5 clicks down and set the zero stop there. Once I set the zero stop 5 clicks down I go 5 clicks back up to zero and set my turret. This way if I need to adjust my zero down a smidge in the future I don't have to mess with the zero stop.
