Have a fairly new Eberlestock X2 that I have used on three hunts, but last weekend took it on a spot-n-stalk bear hunt and it started squeaking with every step, getting louder each day. I took the straps off the frame, removed it, and used an old candle on the aluminum frame and each strap that touches the frame, wiping the candle into the webbing. Put it all back together and love this pack again! No a sound out of it.

Good fix. I've had a holster do it while night hunting hogs and coyotes and it will just about drive you insane.
I had this problem last year bowhunting elk on the coast, with an Allen pack. Nylon strap squeeking on a D-ring. I used vegetable oil.
