First things first, yes I should have bought the PSR - my mistake. I purchased the wrong item, and was stuck with it. I was finally fed up with the legs rotating & couldn't find anything online with what people did to stop it or at least stop them freely rotating under any pressure what so ever.
I came up with a cheap, simple & effective method to lock them up when needed - all you need is a rubber band. Tension said rubber band in the desired leg notch, and jam the leg back over it. It takes considerable force to rotate the legs by hand, and they are solid (without any movement at all) when loading the bipod on a wood bench.
