I have a Howa Mini Action 300 Blk. I just bought the action and then bought a Bell and Carlson Stock. Stock fits action like a glove but there is play further down the barrel. Pretty obvious flex between stock and barrel if you apply pressure. All that being said is there any reason to bed a 300 blk? Would it really affect a 100-150 yard shot? I am thinking no, but would like to hear from some wiser folks. Thanks!

Well which b&c stock is it? We can't tell you yay or nay if we don't have all the details. Does it have aluminum bedding block or not?
Also, have you not already shot it to see if accuracy is acceptable as is?

I guess my question more or less pertained to the 300 Blk round. I don't plan on shooting it at deer past 150 yards.
As far as stock fit I am new to fitting. Maybe some stocks are made to have more play. However stock seems to be more than floating. I have the ability to squeeze barrel and stock where stock ends and see a fair amount of flex and movement.

Bell and Carlson only makes one Howa mini stock last I looked.

Well unless we're specifically shopping around for stocks for a howa mini, the hide isn't gonna know that and most aren't gonna do the homework for the OP lol. I just know how it is here.

Luckily for the OP, I happen to have 2 howa mini rifles. If that is the case, that they only make one model, then that means it does have an aluminum bedding block as I have one of those stocks and they have it. No bedding is necessary for such. Although if you wanted peace of mind, it shouldn't hurt or deteriorate accuracy if it is still bedded. Again, this is assuming there is only one model of B&C stocks for the howa mini. I did my shopping for the stock a few years back so I cant recall for sure.
