Saw a big woodchuck mowin down beans in our bean field this afternoon. Took off as I saw him, so I set the Howa out with a couple rounds of 175SMK's in brass I still needed to fireform. Came back later and he was back out there chowin away, so I took a kneel and put one through, center mass. Sent another one just for good measure and that hit his leg and chest and ended his day. I was pretty pleased. Had to have weighed a good 14 pounds at least, weighed as much as my rifle did for sure.

They irritate the farmers out here. If you see soybean fields or alfalfa, I'd try and contact whoever's running them and ask about giving it a look. Most farmers are pretty happy to have to take them out.
