I got the rest from Blackhawk! about 5 years ago, and a lot of people have asked me about it. They no longer make it, but I found something very similar from Triad: http://www.triadtactical.com/HSGI-Shooters-Butt-Pack.html
The Run 'n Gun shot pretty o.k. I had some bolt lift problems and ejector wipe on the batch I used. MV from my 20" barrel was from ~2,550 - 2,620 fps and averaging ~2,580 fps. I bought a case of their Match grade stuff too, but haven't shot it yet.
The FDAC worked like a charm and I really like it. I need a Kestrel now though, since I think I was really off on temperatures...I was guessing.

Definitely! I picked my FDAC up in person when visiting Stafford/Fredericksburg, VA this past June. They were really helpful and a good bunch of guys! Anyone in the area should stop in and say hi.

to those questioning the rest, there is also the "EBERLESTOCK-PACK MOUNTED SHOOTING REST". same idea, but you can rig the actual rest, to any MOLLE system. retail @ $30. =)
