So I'm stuck between these two brands. I'm shooting on a budget so I can't afford a McMillian or anything super fancy. My max is around $400-$500.00. From what I've been looking at the follow stocks are what I'm thinking. For the cost they are fully adjustable. As far as weight I know they are gunna prob. be pretty hefty on my R700 AAC-SD .308 18" barrel.

HS Precision Ones:

H-S Precision Pro-Series M24 Vertical Grip Tactical Remington 700 Winchester 70 Stocks - Adjustable LOP & Cheek PST 025 26 38 52 54 (RH and LH Available)

H-S Precision Pro-Series M24 Police Adjustable Tactical Remington 700 BDL SA Stock - PST 093

B&C One:

Bell & Carlson Tactical Medalist Style 5 Fully Adjustable - Remington 700 BDL (SPS, XCR, VTR) , Weatherby Mk V, Savage 10/12 - #2094, 2098, 6629, 2097

So I like the look of the B&C as far as ergonomics. I've felt a few HS stocks and like there construction as well. I'm looking for something that is affordable and durable of course. Like I said I am open to suggestions but it needs to stay with this price range and if possible adjustable buttstock and cheek weld would be preferred. I was looking at the standard M24 style stock from HS. Please feel free to enlighten and post advice. I do not mean for this to be a double post. Posted a smiliar post earlier but I couldn't find it in this bolt action thread or on my profile so Mods please forgive if this is a double post. Not intentional. Thanks for your time guys,

Respectfully,

Rob

I was just about to ask bout the B&C tac med 5 myself. Saw guy with one at club but didnt go handle it. It looked sturdy from watching him shoot. I like to here from someone using one.

I love the HSP PST012 stock, I had one on a Remington before I sold the rifle and much preferred it over a B&C A2? Medalist that I had. Both were non-adjustable, which I prefer as there are less things to go wrong, and of course the price is lower.
