Hunting & Fishing Hunter did it again!

my son shot his first deer(doe) with his bow a couple of weeks ago and then decided to set his sights on a young 10pt we had seen several times on the place. We went to the stand Sun. evening to have him show up with several does. hunter closed the deal with a 20yd shot on the buck who only made it about 30yds before piling up. I don't think I could be any prouder of him for all he accomplishes.

Great job Dad!! Our youngens are spoiled though. Remember how long it took us to kill nice deer like that!! We sure didn't do it when we were 10!! lol

Congrats to the both of ya. Good first kills. I can remember when it was really something to see very many deer in MO, and if you saw a buck everyone would here about it. Now it's nothing to see a lot of deer and big bucks are a common thing now.
