Hunting Chassis Weight - MDT ESS vs LSS XL GEN 2

I've been using the XLR element magnesium and XLR atom chassis, very light.

Neither of those is particularly heavy, I don't think either would be 'punishing' either. But I've carried a 16lb DTA hundreds of miles in a backpack only to have it go 'click' so I may be a masochist.

The MDT HNT26 is what you want if you're looking for a really lightweight hunting chassis. I have the folding version with the carbon arca rail and it weighs 1.83lbs (with the action screws). Makes for an awesome, light, setup.

That being said, I don't have a LSS-XL but I do have a couple ESS, ACC and XRS. The lightest of those is the XRS (3.9lbs) but mine weigh 4.3lbs (they have the enclosed forend with integral arca rail), the lightest configuration of the ESS is 4.4lbs and the ACC is about the same, or actually slightly lighter (if the steel butt plate is swapped for an Al one like the ESS has). All that to say that if you use the same butt stock on the LSS-XL as on the ESS and use either the carbon, or the shortest handguard, I don't see there being much of a weight difference between the 2, maybe an oz or 2?
