Hush Holsters ? For silenced pistols

I’m not a big pistol guy, but I use suppressors on everything. I went off the deep end researching this a few years ago and found that the simplest setup is the Crye Gunclip ($40) and a Glock 17/19. You can use a light too, but it’s not required.

I’d be lying if I told you I am a Glock fanboy. They’re ok. But an alternative gun (CZ, SIG, etc) forces you into a heavier wonky-ass kludgy holster and an also-heavier must-be-attached weapon light.

As far as the wonky-ass holsters went, at the time the one with the best reviews was the Surefire MasterFire. I thought the construction of that one also made the most sense for walking in the woods as well.

I have used the TRex holster with good luck as an alternative.

No experience w/that Hush holster, but my TRex has been holding up well so far:

I'm testing one out with an M&P45, Surefire X400V and Ti-Rant 45. I had to fabricate a mount plate to get it where I wanted on the war belt, but that's just my G-Code setup. It has a little wobble, and reholstering takes a little technique, but even with the wobble it seems pretty secuve. The thumb release works quite naturally for me, and the extra security is what drove me to test one against my T-Rex unit. That is fairly easy to lever the gun forward out of the holster, so getting in and out of the SxS in gear is a bit of a challenge. I won't have a chance to run it in a full on class for a couple months, but so far, so good.

I got one for Christmas, I run tlr1 lights on all my full sized stuff (anything that’s threaded anyway).
I have one day of hunting/hiking with the hounds, approximately 12-13 miles, and had absolutely zero issues with it.
The only “issue” is that I’d like the thumb release to be stiffer, but that’s just a preference and it never had any instance of the weapon coming loose.
