I have a pair of Badger 30mm rings with the 1" ring reducers. From the top of the pic slot (or the bottom of the slot if facing upside down) to the closest point on the ring reducer is .290"
How does Marty measure the .823, .885 etc on the rings?
From the standard top of a pic rail to the center line of the rings?

30mm = 1.181"/2=.591"+.290" = .881" so these are medium rings (.885")???

I just installed my new Badger 22 barrel on my Sako Quad and the scope bell hits the barrel so I need one size taller rings.

I found it

It is from the bottom of the slot to the bottom of the "scope hole" (very technical term

)

Who makes a slightly taller alloy ring than a medium badger? An alloy medium high (1.000") would work fine but Badger doesn't make a medium high alloy.

Thanks
