I am looking at turning 2 of my PVS-14 into one set of PVS-15. I understand there's a dual bridge system out there from Mod Armory, but looking to make it a tad less cumbersome, lighter weight, and dedicated. I need a set that will be strong and may get bumped every now and then, so ANVIS are out. Even with the Up-Armor bridge for the ANVIS, still would prefer 15's.
So, are there PVS-15 housings out there? Are the parts super difficult to find? I've been hitting a wall on the parts, but maybe my google-fu isn't strong...
I've seen PVS-14 housings out there, but haven't found housings, I realize the housings are probably 4K empty, but 4K is cheaper than buying an additional set..
Do they assemble just like PVS-14's? Do they require anything unique? Is there anywhere I could supply my 2 PVS-14's and have them put into a PVS-15 housing for a small fee? any input on BUILDING your own PVS-15's would be helpful from people who have actually built them.
